Our Pastoral Council is a representative consultative body of parishioners that advises and makes recommendations to the pastor concerning the life and mission of Holy Trinity Parish. The Council's purpose is to be a sign and witness of unity for the larger parish community, to recommend parish priorities and directions, to assist the pastor in pastoral planning, to promote community, and to foster communication and understanding among parish organizations and between the parish, the Archdiocese, and the universal Church. The Council performs its functions by listening to the parish community and formulating broad priorities, goals and policies which articulate and foster the mission of the parish. The Pastoral Council is made up of nine to twelve members serving three-year terms. The membership of the Pastoral Council should reflect the parish community by being inclusive of the demographic realities of the parish. Members do not represent a particular constituency, but should reflect the diversity of the parish in terms of age, race, gender, and length of membership in the parish. The Pastoral Council meets on the second Saturday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Meetings are open to all parish members. We are actively recruiting new members now.
